We decided to take a quick camping trip to Babbler State Park last weekend. Allen had never been camping before and thoroughly enjoyed himself. The only damper on the trip was the cold weather. It was near freezing in the middle of the night and we ended up going home to sleep for a few hours. Thankfully, home was only 10 minutes away. We came back in the morning to cook breakfast on the campfire and had a day full of fun in the outdoors.

He also became an expert fire poker. Just kidding! We didn't let him get close to the actual fire but isn't his chair adorable?
We took a few bike rides with Allen in his new bike trailer. He loves it.
And a few naps in the comfy hammock from Brad's mission in Venezuela.
The canopy of colorful leaves over our campsite was brilliant.
Allen loves to wear Daddy's head-light and wore it all over our campsite.
