In late August we took a trip up to Coeur d'Alene, ID to visit chiropractic offices and investigate the area as a possible place to settle and open a practice. Bradley was fortunate to have several interviews with many helpful chiropractors. While in the area we took some time to explore the beautiful surrounding places and visit family.
The first day in town we took a complementary boat ride on Lake Coeur d'Alene. We were admiring a fancy resort boat and the captain asked us if we wanted a ride. Yes please!

We met up with Charity (Alanna's sister), Tom and two of their children Jasmine and Tommy.
We now know why Allen is blond. Even though Mommy isn't...her family sure is!
Coincidentally the boy's outfits were almost matching.
Thomas 2 1/2, Allen 16 months...almost the same size.

We spent most of our leisure time in Idaho with Brad's brother (Chris) and his family (Natalie-wife, son & daughter-Elijah and Aubrey)
Allen was dressed to impress on our hike...actually it was a Sunday afternoon nature walk and we hadn't changed his clothes from church.
Allen sat in this spot throwing rocks into the river for so long. When he ran out Daddy would deliver another giant handful. So much fun!
Chris and his bald kitty-kind of creepy but very friendly.
Allen wanted to pull the kitty's tail all week-could you say no to these baby-blues?

Before we left town Alanna and Allen drove down to Oregon for a quick visit to Aunt Lisa and family. After hundreds of photographs she finally met Allen!
I was so happy to finally get to meet baby Allen. It was such a joy to spend those two days with Alana and Allen. I can't wait for them to visit again. But next time Brad needs to come too. I haven't seen him since Alana's graduation and my husband and son haven't gotten to meet him yet.
