Sleepover

When we visit my best friend's house it's usually for a sleepover.  It takes a while to get there and a few hours is just not enough visiting time for the children––or the adults. 


Luckily our sweet husbands humor us and think it's totally normal for grown women with six children between them to have sleepovers. 


Smart husbands.

Esmé and Claire are both in a 'territorial' phase right now.  They spent the entire weekend arguing over toys and shoving each other around. 

No worries.  They'll be best friends by toddler-hood. :)

Sweet little Claire is only 3 months younger than Esmé.

Neva & Joey happen to live in a gorgeous rural area with views of Mt. Rainier.  We went on a lovely walk and took it all in.

 These two are awesome friends.  Emma is one of Allen's favorite people.

 Brig loved this old trike.  He claimed it our entire visit.

 He even gave little sister a ride. 

 

 

 After our walk we hung out in the sunshine and took turns snuggling Ginger––the cuddliest cat on the planet!  

Seriously, this cat lets the kids handle him like an accordion and continually comes back for more. 

 She is Brigham's dream cat. 

 

 Esmé loved on her too.

 

 

 We ended the fabulous day with smores on the grill.

I'm pretty sure my kids would have a difficult time choosing between another visit to your place and a trip to Disney Land.  :)
