It didn't take him long to decide. He wanted to go swimming. With Shanna.
My boys love their friend Shanna. We're all pretty fond of her.
My Dad, Grandpa Allen, also joined us for the day. We were so happy he came along.
I wasn't sure how long Esmé would last but she was a trooper. We stayed for a couple hours and she played the entire time.
Allen's favorite activity was the water slide. We had to pull him away from it after a awhile.
After the aquatic center we headed over to Bella Bella Cupcakes for some treats.
Later on that evening we had dinner with Grandma Karrie, Alan, Heidi, and Danny. Grandpa Allen bought Brig a Costco cake and helped me with dinner. Thanks Dad!

We spent some time in the back yard launching the rocket and playing soccer. It's so nice to have family over to visit.
Danny is Heidi's fiance. We're so excited for him to join the family next month!

It's almost ridiculous. He carries them around for weeks showing everyone. He even sleeps with them. :)
Thank you Grandma Karrie and family for making the drive over. It was a fun night and hopefully we can do it more often.
And Happy Birthday to my sweet Briggie-boy! He is the most unique child I've ever encountered. On one hand he's mischievous and challenging...on the other he's extraordinarily affectionate and caring. Bradley and I like to joke that he has us enrolled in Parenting500, but we wouldn't change him for the world. We love you Brig! :)
