Neva's Blessing Day

We blessed sweet baby Neva at our church last weekend. 
{It's similar to a christening.} 
Several of our local family members were able to be with us for her special day.  It was a wonderful time to get together with everyone and take lots of photographs, eat yummy food and visit.

 Like my homemade decorations?  I had fun making them. :)

 Uncle Danny was precious with Neva.  He and Auntie Heidi are expecting their first baby and he's going to be an AWESOME father. 

Yeah, we're a fun bunch. :)

My Mom asked me to take photos of her and Roger since they were here all dressed up–and since they haven't had a nice photo together in over a decade!  I was happy to snap a few pictures of them.  I love the way they turned out.  {Side note: Roger bought his suit for the occasion.  Doesn't he look dashing?!}

What a fabulous day.  We feel very blessed to have such wonderful families! 

*True Story: Right before Bradley went up to bless Neva he looked at me with uncertainty in his eyes and asked, "Is it Maria? Marie? Maria? Which one is it? Marie, right?"
LOL!  Yes folks, he forgot our {2 month old} baby's name.  And I'll enjoy teasing him about it for a very long time.

**Her name is Neva Marie. :)
